The album why?

As I sit here trying to mix "digital life" I can't help but stop and laugh at myself. Why did I write such a crazy song? Will people get any of this? Or did I waste my time? Mullets, Videogames, Demons and dead friends.... What else is there to write about? People say artists should stick with what they know and what they see around them. By that logic I must be in a strange time and place. I'm happy with the mixing is going. It will sound much more polished than our last CD. Perhaps a bit too polished. The only thing I'm afraid of is that we've been away for so long that people might not care anymore. We have always played for ourselves, people just kinda liked what we did. Now that I think we've really become something unique I worry that nobody will notice. There are more bands playing more shows, working harder to maintain large groups of fans... We haven't really done those things. Not that we ever really could (with our jobs and school). My only hope is that TenTooMany's next album will be "unique" enough to be remembered.

Our new album just might be crazy enough to become a sucess on the internet. What mullet site wouldn't want a copy of our track? What self respecting videogame nerd wouldn't want to hear an epic ska anthem about their tragic addictions? I'm happy to cling to my fantasy.

But hey, who am I kidding. I still have mixing and mastering to do. These questions can wait.
