Things Change
I had a great time at my brother's wedding last weekend. I can't believe one of us got married! He looked great in his tux, Michelle looked fantastic in her big poofy dress. I wrote them a love song as a wedding gift. The only real love song I have ever composed. Chris helped me with the recording/mixing and turned out to be a great vocal coach!
It was very nice to see all the family. I got a fiddle from my father's side of the family, my great uncle carved it. I tuned it up the other day, it has a bright and clear tone. I now have an amazing hand crafted folk instrument from both sides of the family! I few years ago I recieved an amazing dulcimer from my gandmother. It was made by a very nice old instrument maker in a retirement home. He only had one piece of wood left, and my grandmother asked him to use it to make me a traditional instrument.
A great way to spend a weekend back home.
